  1. Provide high-quality patient care: The LPN/LVN will be responsible for providing compassionate and skilled care to patients with pulmonary conditions.
  2. Work collaboratively with healthcare team: The LPN/LVN will work alongside a team of healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.
  3. Monitor and assess patient health: The LPN/LVN will be responsible for regularly monitoring and assessing the health status of patients with pulmonary conditions, and reporting any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
  4. Administer medications and treatments: The LPN/LVN will be responsible for administering medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician, and ensuring accurate documentation of all interventions.
  5. Educate patients and families: The LPN/LVN will provide education to patients and their families about their pulmonary condition, treatment plans, and self-care techniques.
  6. Maintain accurate records: The LPN/LVN will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation of patient care.
  7. Adhere to safety and infection control protocols: The LPN/LVN will follow all safety and infection control protocols to ensure the safety of patients, staff, and visitors.
  8. Communicate effectively: The LPN/LVN will communicate effectively with patients, families, and members of the healthcare team to provide comprehensive and coordinated care.

Job Qualifications
  • Active Lvn/Lpn License: The Candidate Must Possess A Current And Valid Lvn/Lpn License From The State In Which They Will Be Practicing.

  • Specialized Training In Pulmonology: A Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In A Pulmonology Setting, With Knowledge And Skills In Managing Respiratory Conditions And Administering Treatments Such As Oxygen Therapy And Nebulizer Treatments.

  • Ability To Assess And Monitor Patients: Lvn/Lpns Must Have Strong Assessment Skills To Accurately Observe And Document Patients' Respiratory Status And Response To Treatments, As Well As The Ability To Identify Potential Complications.

  • Knowledge Of Pulmonary Equipment And Procedures: Candidates Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Various Pulmonary Equipment And Procedures, Such As Spirometry, Bronchoscopy, And Chest X-Rays.

  • Excellent Communication And Teamwork Skills: Lvn/Lpns Must Be Able To Effectively Communicate With Patients, Families, And Interdisciplinary Teams To Provide Comprehensive Care For Patients With Respiratory Conditions. They Should Also Be Able To Collaborate With Other Healthcare Professionals To Develop And Implement Treatment Plans.
