Job Description

Ascension Health is currently seeking a highly qualified and dedicated Licensed Nursing Home Administrator to join our team.   1. Oversee the daily operations of the skilled nursing facility and ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations.
  2. Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain high standards of care for residents.
  3. Manage and mentor staff to ensure a positive and productive work environment.
  4. Monitor and evaluate the facility's financial performance and make necessary adjustments to meet budgetary goals.
  5. Collaborate with medical staff, residents, and families to develop personalized care plans and ensure that all needs are met.
  6. Ensure that all necessary licenses and certifications are obtained and maintained for the facility.
  7. Maintain a strong knowledge of current healthcare trends and best practices, and implement them into the facility's operations.
  8. Conduct regular quality assurance reviews and take corrective action as needed.
  9. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and promote a high level of customer satisfaction.
  10. Serve as a liaison between the facility and external stakeholders, such as government agencies, community organizations, and healthcare providers.
  11. Keep up-to-date records and reports on the facility's activities and performance.
  12. Stay informed of changes in healthcare laws and regulations and ensure that the facility is in compliance.
  13. Represent the facility in a professional manner and promote a positive image in the community.
  14. Handle any conflicts or issues that arise within the facility in a timely and efficient manner.
  15. Ensure that the facility maintains a safe and clean environment for residents, staff, and visitors.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.

  • Current And Valid State License As A Nursing Home Administrator.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In A Leadership Role In A Long-Term Care Facility.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Federal And State Regulations Governing Nursing Home Operations.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Staff, Residents, Families, And External Stakeholders.
