  1. Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the nursing home facility.
  2. Ensure the highest level of care and services are provided to residents.
  3. Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain compliance with state and federal regulations.
  4. Manage and monitor the facility's budget and financial performance.
  5. Hire, train, and supervise staff to ensure a competent and compassionate team.
  6. Collaborate with healthcare providers and community resources to enhance the quality of care for residents.
  7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation.
  8. Address and resolve any issues or concerns from residents, families, or staff.
  9. Conduct regular facility inspections and assessments to identify areas for improvement.
  10. Stay current on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve the facility's operations and services.
  11. Foster a positive and supportive work environment for staff.
  12. Act as a liaison between the facility and external stakeholders, such as regulatory agencies and families of residents.
  13. Ensure adherence to infection control standards and emergency preparedness protocols.
  14. Coordinate with the marketing team to promote the facility and attract new residents.
  15. Uphold ethical and professional standards in all aspects of the job.

Job Qualifications
  • A Valid State License As A Nursing Home Administrator: All Applicants Must Possess A Valid State License As A Nursing Home Administrator To Be Considered For The Position. This License Ensures That The Candidate Has Met The Necessary Education And Experience Requirements To Effectively Manage A Nursing Home Facility.

  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Healthcare Administration Or A Related Field: A Strong Educational Background In Healthcare Administration Is Highly Desirable For This Position. This Includes Medicare And Medicaid Regulations, As Well As Regulations From Agencies Such As The Centers For Medicare And Medicaid Services (Cms).

  • Strong Leadership And Communication Skills: The Role Of A Nursing Home Administrator Requires Strong Leadership And Communication Skills To Effectively Manage Staff And Ensure Quality Care For Residents.
