
Licensed Nursing Home Administrator
Ascension Health is seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Nursing Home Administrator to join our team. - Oversee daily operations of the skilled nursing facility, including managing staff, maintaining facility standards, and ensuring resident care is of the highest quality.
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations, including but not limited to Medicare and Medicaid guidelines.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain a safe and positive environment for residents and staff.
- Manage budget and finances of the facility, including monitoring expenses and maximizing revenue.
- Recruit, hire, and train staff, ensuring all employees are properly trained and maintain required licensure and certifications.
- Foster a positive work culture by promoting teamwork, open communication, and professional development opportunities for staff.
- Serve as a liaison between the facility and external stakeholders, such as government agencies and healthcare providers.
- Develop and maintain relationships with residents, families, and caregivers to ensure their needs are being met and concerns are addressed.
- Conduct regular quality assurance reviews to assess the facility's performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continually improve the facility's operations and resident care.
- Uphold the mission, vision, and values of Ascension Health in all aspects of the job.
- Adhere to ethical and legal standards and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
Current And Valid State Licensure As A Nursing Home Administrator.
Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.
At Least 5 Years Of Experience In A Leadership Role At A Skilled Nursing Facility.
Knowledge Of Federal And State Regulations And Laws Related To Long-Term Care Facilities.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Manage And Lead A Diverse Team.
