- Maintain accurate inventory records by regularly updating stock levels, tracking usage and expiration dates, and conducting regular audits.
- Process and fulfill orders in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring that all products are correctly identified and accounted for.
- Monitor inventory levels and anticipate any potential shortages or overages, reporting any discrepancies to management.
- Assist in the development and implementation of inventory control procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Communicate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of products and resolve any issues with orders.
- Collaborate with other team members to identify and resolve inventory discrepancies and ensure proper recording and handling of damaged or expired products.
- Maintain a clean and organized inventory storage area to facilitate easy access and accurate tracking.
- Provide support to other departments, such as accounting and purchasing, by providing accurate inventory data and reports.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in inventory management to continuously improve processes and procedures.
- Adhere to all safety and security protocols to maintain the integrity of the inventory and prevent loss or theft.
- Train and mentor new inventory clerks on company policies and procedures, as needed.
- Contribute to the overall success of the organization by actively participating in team meetings and suggesting ways to improve inventory management processes.
