Electroneurodiagnostic - Technologist

We are seeking a highly-skilled Electroneurodiagnostic Technologist to join Ascension Health, the nation’s largest nonprofit health system. As an Electroneurodiagnostic Technologist, you will be responsible for performing electroencephalography (EEG), evoked potentials (EP), and polysomnography (PSG) tests to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating neurological disorders.The ideal candidate will have a minimum of an Associate’s Degree in Electroneurodiagnostic Technology, and at least one year of experience in a clinical setting. This candidate must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and demonstrate the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: • Perform EEG, EP, and PSG tests to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating neurological disorders • Maintain patient records and medical documentation • Ensure patient safety and comfort during tests • Maintain equipment and supplies for Electroneurodiagnostic and polysomnographic procedures • Communicate test results to physicians and other healthcare professionals • Explain testing procedures to patients • Ensure accuracy and integrity of test results • Follow safety regulations and safety protocols
