- Monitor and respond to all calls for assistance in a timely and efficient manner.
- Dispatch appropriate personnel to respond to emergency situations.
- Maintain accurate records of all incoming calls and dispatches.
- Communicate effectively with security personnel, medical staff, and other departments to coordinate responses to incidents.
- Monitor security cameras and alarm systems to identify potential security threats.
- Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed.
- Stay up-to-date on policies, procedures, and protocols related to safety and security.
- Proactively identify potential safety hazards and report them to the appropriate department for resolution.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients, visitors, and employees by answering questions and addressing concerns.
- Assist with training new dispatchers and ensuring they are knowledgeable and proficient in their duties.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations at all times.
- Handle sensitive and potentially stressful situations with professionalism and composure.
- Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement emergency response plans.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

Strong Knowledge Of Safety And Security Protocols: A Dispatcher For Ascension Health Must Have A Thorough Understanding Of Safety And Security Procedures, Including Emergency Response Protocols, Risk Assessment, And Crisis Management.
