  8. Provide counseling and support: Offer counseling and support to patients and their families to help them understand and adhere to their nutrition plans.
  9. Conduct nutrition education programs: Plan and conduct nutrition education programs for patients, community groups, and other healthcare professionals to promote healthy eating habits.
  10. Adhere to ethical and legal standards: Follow ethical and legal standards in all aspects of patient care, including maintaining confidentiality and respecting patients' rights.
  11. Participate in quality improvement initiatives: Participate in quality improvement initiatives to continuously improve the nutrition services provided by the organization.
  12. Adhere to safety and infection control policies: Follow all safety and infection control policies to ensure the safety and well-being of patients and staff.
  13. Attend trainings and conferences: Attend relevant trainings and conferences to enhance knowledge and skills in clinical nutrition.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Nutrition Or Dietetics - A Candidate For A Dietitian - Clinical Nutrition Job At Ascension Health Should Possess A Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Nutrition Or Dietetics From An Accredited Institution.

  • Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist (Rdn) License - The Candidate Should Be A Licensed Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist (Rdn) Through The Commission On Dietetic Registration (Cdr).

  • Clinical Experience - Ascension Health Requires Candidates To Have At Least 2-3 Years Of Clinical Experience In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably In A Hospital Or Long-Term Care Facility.

  • Knowledge Of Medical Nutrition Therapy - The Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Medical Nutrition Therapy And Be Able To Provide Evidence-Based Nutrition Recommendations For Patients With Various Medical Conditions.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills - As A Dietitian - Clinical Nutritionist At Ascension Health, The Candidate Will Work Closely With Patients, Healthcare Professionals, And Other Members Of The Healthcare Team.
