
Diagnostic Cardiology Technician

- Perform diagnostic procedures: Conduct a variety of diagnostic procedures, including electrocardiograms (ECGs), stress tests, Holter monitoring, and echocardiograms, to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with cardiovascular conditions.
- Maintain equipment: Ensure all diagnostic equipment is in proper working condition by performing regular maintenance and troubleshooting any issues that arise.
- Record and analyze data: Accurately record and analyze data from diagnostic tests, and prepare reports for physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Assist physicians: Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely diagnostic information, and assist in developing treatment plans for patients.
- Educate patients: Educate patients on the diagnostic procedures and answer any questions or concerns they may have, providing them with a comfortable and supportive experience.
- Follow safety protocols: Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure the well-being of patients and staff during procedures.
- Maintain patient records: Keep accurate and up-to-date records of patient procedures and results, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Stay informed: Stay informed of new developments and advancements in diagnostic cardiology to ensure the most effective and up-to-date care for patients.
- Collaborate with team members: Work collaboratively with other healthcare team members to provide optimal patient care and support a positive and productive work environment.

Bachelor's Degree In Cardiovascular Technology Or Related Field
Certification As A Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (Rcis) Or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (Rcs)
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In A Clinical Setting, Preferably In A Cardiac Catheterization Lab Or Cardiovascular Diagnostic Center
Knowledge Of Cardiovascular Anatomy, Physiology, And Diagnostic Procedures
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With Ability To Work Effectively In A Team Environment And Interact With Patients And Healthcare Professionals.
