- Operate and maintain CT equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and administer contrast media as needed.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to accurately interpret and report on CT scans.
- Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to all confidentiality and HIPAA regulations.
- Stay up-to-date on industry advancements and new techniques in CT imaging.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and report any malfunctions or necessary repairs.
- Educate patients on the imaging process and address any questions or concerns.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Demonstrate compassion, empathy, and excellent customer service skills when interacting with patients.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment for both patients and staff.
- Participate in ongoing training and continuing education to maintain licensure and certification.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and timely workflow.

Certified Ct Technologist: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Valid Certification From The American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt) In Computed Tomography (Ct) Imaging.
Prior Experience: Candidates Should Have At Least 2-3 Years Of Experience Working As A Ct Technologist In A Hospital Or Healthcare Setting. This Experience Should Include Performing A Variety Of Ct Scans And Procedures.
Knowledge Of Imaging Equipment: The Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Ct Equipment And Be Able To Troubleshoot Technical Issues As Needed. They Should Also Be Able To Maintain And Calibrate Equipment To Ensure Accurate And High-Quality Images.
Attention To Detail: As Ct Scans Are Often Used To Diagnose And Detect Medical Conditions, The Candidate Should Have A Keen Eye For Detail To Ensure Accurate And Precise Imaging. They Should Also Have Good Organizational Skills To Maintain Detailed Records And Patient Information.
Patient Care Skills: Ct Technicians At Ascension Health Should Have Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Provide Compassionate Care To Patients. They Should Also Be Able To Work Efficiently In A Fast-Paced And Potentially High-Stress Environment, While Maintaining Patient Comfort And Safety.
