High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Cma Certified Medication Assistant At Ascension Health Must Have A High School Diploma Or Equivalent To Demonstrate A Basic Level Of Education And Knowledge.
Completion Of A Recognized Cma Program: Candidates Must Have Successfully Completed A Recognized Certified Medication Assistant Program, Which Includes Classroom Instruction And Practical Training In Administering Medications.
Active Cma Certification: The Candidate Must Hold A Valid And Active Cma Certification From A Recognized Accrediting Body, Such As The National Council Of State Boards Of Nursing (Ncsbn) Or The American Association Of Medical Assistants (Aama).
Prior Experience In A Healthcare Setting: Previous Experience In A Healthcare Setting, Such As A Hospital, Long-Term Care Facility, Or Physician's Office, Is Preferred. This Demonstrates The Candidate's Familiarity With Medical Terminology And Procedures.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential For A Cma Certified Medication Assistant, As They Will Be Working Closely With Patients, Nurses, And Other Healthcare Professionals.
