  1. Develop and implement personalized and evidence-based nutrition care plans for pediatric and adolescent patients.
  2. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to provide holistic and comprehensive care for patients.
  3. Conduct nutrition assessments and screenings to identify patients' nutritional needs and risks.
  4. Educate patients and their families on proper nutrition and healthy lifestyle behaviors.
  5. Monitor patients' progress and make necessary adjustments to nutrition plans as needed.
  6. Stay up-to-date with current research and developments in the field of pediatric and adolescent nutrition.
  7. Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient care and progress.
  8. Adhere to all healthcare regulations and protocols, as well as ethical standards in nutrition practice.
  9. Participate in departmental and hospital-wide initiatives to promote healthy living and prevent chronic diseases.
  10. Provide guidance and support to other healthcare professionals on nutrition-related matters.
  11. Advocate for the importance of nutrition in overall health and well-being of pediatric and adolescent patients.
  12. Attend and participate in trainings, conferences, and workshops to enhance knowledge and skills in pediatric and adolescent nutrition.
  13. Foster a positive and compassionate environment for patients and their families.
  14. Collaborate with community organizations and schools to promote healthy eating habits and lifestyles among young individuals.
  15. Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA regulations.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Nutrition, Dietetics, Or A Related Field From An Accredited Institution.

  • Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (Rdn) Certification From The Commission On Dietetic Registration (Cdr).

  • Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience Working In Clinical Nutrition, Preferably In A Pediatric Or Adolescent Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Pediatric And Adolescent Nutrition Guidelines And Ability To Develop Customized Nutrition Plans For Patients With Various Medical Conditions.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Work With Patients, Families, And Healthcare Team Members.
