- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement evidence-based care plans.
- Serve as a mentor and resource to staff nurses, providing ongoing education and training opportunities to ensure a high level of clinical competency.
- Conduct research and analyze data to identify areas for improvement and implement evidence-based practices to enhance patient care.
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and promote best practices in patient care.
- Act as a liaison between patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure effective communication and coordination of care.
- Utilize advanced assessment skills to identify and address complex healthcare needs of patients.
- Stay updated on current advancements and developments in the healthcare field and incorporate them into practice.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and assist in maintaining accreditation standards.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient care and outcomes.
Current And Active Rn License In The State Of Employment.
Master's Degree In Nursing With A Specialization In Clinical Nurse Specialist (Cns) Or Equivalent Advanced Practice Nursing Degree.
Certification As An Advanced Practice Nurse (Cns) By A Recognized National Certifying Body Such As The American Nurses Credentialing Center (Ancc).
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Clinical Experience As A Cns, Preferably In A Hospital Setting.
Strong Knowledge And Understanding Of Evidence-Based Practice, Quality Improvement, And Patient Safety Initiatives.
