- Develop and implement clinical informatics programs, systems, and processes to improve patient care and outcomes.
- Stay informed of the latest technology and data trends in healthcare to continuously enhance our informatics strategies.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders, including clinicians, IT professionals, and executive leadership, to understand their needs and incorporate them into informatics initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices related to clinical informatics.
- Conduct regular assessments and audits of existing clinical informatics systems to identify areas for improvement.
- Train and educate staff, including clinicians, on the use of clinical informatics tools and systems.
- Serve as a liaison between clinical and IT teams to facilitate smooth communication and collaboration.
- Monitor and analyze data to identify opportunities for process improvement and inform decision-making.
- Develop and maintain documentation, including policies and procedures, related to clinical informatics.
- Stay updated on changes and advancements in healthcare informatics and make recommendations for their implementation.
- Participate in meetings and committees to represent the clinical informatics perspective and provide updates on progress and challenges.
- Work closely with vendors and external partners to ensure the smooth integration of informatics systems and tools.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to clinical informatics systems.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of patient data and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Prepare reports and presentations to communicate the impact and effectiveness of clinical informatics initiatives to stakeholders.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the organization through the use of informatics tools and processes.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff members in the informatics department.
Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Informatics, Clinical Informatics, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Clinical Informatics In A Healthcare Setting.
Knowledge Of Electronic Health Record Systems, Including Implementation And Optimization.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Collaborate With Clinical Staff And It Professionals.
Understanding Of Healthcare Regulations And Compliance Requirements, Such As Hipaa And Meaningful Use.
