- Develop and implement a comprehensive strategic plan for Ascension Health, aligning with the organization's mission, vision, and values.
- Monitor and analyze industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape to inform strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with executive leadership and key stakeholders to identify and prioritize strategic initiatives that drive growth and enhance organizational performance.
- Lead the development and execution of initiatives to enhance the patient experience, increase access to care, and improve healthcare outcomes.
- Partner with business and clinical leaders to identify opportunities for innovation and drive operational excellence across the organization.
- Oversee the evaluation and integration of new business ventures, partnerships, and acquisitions to support organizational growth and diversification.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key external stakeholders, including government agencies, payers, and community organizations.
- Provide guidance and support to regional and local leadership teams in developing and implementing strategic plans at the local level.
- Monitor and report on the progress of strategic initiatives, identifying potential barriers and recommending solutions to ensure successful implementation.
- Serve as a thought leader and subject matter expert on healthcare strategy, providing insights and recommendations to senior leadership and the Board of Directors.
- Prepare and present strategic plans, business cases, and progress reports to the executive team and Board of Directors.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, teamwork, and continuous improvement within the organization.
- Stay current on industry developments and best practices, incorporating them into the organization's strategic planning processes.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and laws related to healthcare strategy and business operations.
- Represent Ascension Health at industry conferences, events, and meetings to promote the organization and its strategic objectives.
Advanced Degree In Business, Healthcare Administration, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In A Strategic Leadership Role Within The Healthcare Industry.
Proven Track Record Of Developing And Implementing Successful Strategic Plans.
Strong Understanding Of Healthcare Trends, Regulations, And Market Dynamics.
Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills, With The Ability To Build Relationships And Influence Key Stakeholders.
