1. Perform surgical technology procedures in accordance with established protocols and standards.
2. Prepare and maintain surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies for procedures.
3. Assist surgeons and other healthcare team members during surgical procedures.
4. Ensure proper sterilization and infection control protocols are followed.
5. Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
6. Maintain accurate and detailed records of surgical procedures and patient information.
7. Demonstrate knowledge and expertise in surgical equipment and technology.
8. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations.
9. Continuously update and maintain knowledge of current surgical techniques and technology.
10. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
11. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with quality standards.
12. Act as a patient advocate, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being during procedures.
13. Work collaboratively with other members of the healthcare team to provide excellent patient care.
14. Maintain a professional and compassionate attitude towards patients and colleagues.
15. Attend continuing education and training programs to enhance knowledge and skills.
