Certification In Sterile Processing: Candidates Must Hold A Current Certification From A Recognized Organization, Such As The Certification Board For Sterile Processing And Distribution (Cbspd) Or The International Association Of Healthcare Central Service Material Management (Iahcsmm).
Knowledge Of Sterilization Techniques And Infection Control: A Strong Understanding Of Sterilization Methods And Infection Control Protocols Is Necessary For Ensuring Patient Safety And Preventing The Spread Of Healthcare-Associated Infections.
