- Greet and welcome patients and their families with a warm and friendly attitude.
- Prepare examination rooms and ensure they are clean and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Assist physicians during patient examinations and procedures.
- Accurately record and update patient medical history and vital signs.
- Administer vaccinations and medications as directed by the physician.
- Prepare and maintain medical equipment and instruments for use.
- Assist with scheduling appointments and coordinating patient referrals.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing instructions and education as needed.
- Perform basic laboratory tests and collect specimens for testing.
- Ensure patient confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients.

Certification: The First And Most Important Qualification For A Certified Medical Assistant (Cma) - Pedi Ent At Ascension Health Is To Hold A Valid Certification As A Medical Assistant. This Can Be Obtained Through Accredited Programs And Demonstrates The Necessary Knowledge And Skills For The Job.
Experience In Pediatrics And Ent: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Prior Experience Working In A Pediatric Or Ent Setting. This Will Ensure They Are Familiar With The Unique Needs And Challenges Of Caring For Young Patients And Have A Good Understanding Of Ent Procedures.
Knowledge Of Medical Terminology: A Cma - Pedi Ent Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Medical Terminology, Especially Related To Pediatrics And Ent Procedures. This Will Enable Them To Effectively Communicate With Other Healthcare Professionals And Accurately Document Patient Information.
