Job Description

Ascension Health is seeking an experienced and passionate Cath Lab Technologist to join our dynamic clinical team. This position offers an excellent opportunity to provide patient-centered care and make a real impact on the health and wellbeing of individuals in our community.The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of experience working as a Cath Lab Technologist. A Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification is required, as is a demonstrated commitment to patient safety and quality care. Our Cath Lab Technologist must also demonstrate strong communication and organizational skills, the ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and a dedication to providing compassionate and patient-centered care. Responsibilites:

  1. Perform all Cath Lab Technologist duties and procedures in accordance with established protocols and standards.
  2. Maintain patient safety and quality care at all times.
  3. Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  4. Ensure patient-centered care is provided to all patients.
  5. Communicate effectively with patients, staff, and other healthcare professionals.
  6. Monitor and document patient progress throughout care.
  7. Remain up-to-date with the latest advancements in Cath Lab procedures and technology.
  8. Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  9. Attend Cath Lab team meetings and professional development opportunities.
  10. Follow all policies, procedures, and regulations established by Ascension Health.
