  1. Administer and monitor cardiac stress tests on patients, including exercise stress tests, pharmacological stress tests, and stress echocardiograms.
  2. Record and interpret patient data during stress tests, including ECG readings, blood pressure, and heart rate measurements.
  3. Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure accurate and timely test results and assist in diagnosis and treatment plans.
  4. Maintain and troubleshoot stress testing equipment and report any malfunctions or issues.
  5. Educate patients on the purpose and procedures of stress tests and answer any questions or concerns.
  6. Follow all safety protocols and infection control measures to ensure the safety of patients and staff.
  7. Maintain accurate and detailed records of stress tests, patient information, and test results.
  8. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to provide exceptional patient care.
  9. Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with advancements in stress testing techniques and equipment.
  10. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, including HIPAA regulations, to maintain patient confidentiality.
  11. Provide emotional support and comfort to patients during stress tests, as needed.
  12. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure a positive patient experience.
  13. Maintain a high level of professionalism and demonstrate compassion and empathy towards patients.
  14. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards related to stress testing.
  15. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes and overall department efficiency.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Exercise Science, Cardiac Technology, Or A Related Field.

  • Certification As A Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (Rcis) Or Certified Cardiographic Technician (Cct) From A Recognized Organization (E.g. Cardiovascular Credentialing International).

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Experience As A Cardiac Stress Technician In A Hospital Or Clinical Setting.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Cardiac Anatomy, Physiology, And Disease Processes.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, As Well As The Ability To Work Collaboratively In A Team Environment.
