  1. Monitor and maintain cardiac devices for patients with heart conditions.
  2. Utilize technical skills to ensure accurate and effective functioning of devices.
  3. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care for patients.
  4. Conduct regular assessments and evaluations of cardiac devices.
  5. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with devices.
  6. Perform device programming and reprogramming as needed.
  7. Educate patients and their families on proper use and care of cardiac devices.
  8. Maintain accurate and detailed records of device maintenance and patient progress.
  9. Stay updated on the latest advancements and developments in cardiac device technology.
  10. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.
  11. Work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to identify and address patient needs.
  12. Provide exceptional and compassionate care to patients.
  13. Exhibit strong communication skills to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  14. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.
  15. Comply with all regulatory and organizational policies and guidelines.

Job Qualifications
  • Education And Training: A Minimum Of An Associate's Degree In A Related Field Such As Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, Or Healthcare Technology Is Required. Candidates May Also Need To Complete Specialized Training Or Certification Programs Specific To Cardiac Device Technology.

  • Experience: Previous Experience Working With Cardiac Devices, Such As Pacemakers, Defibrillators, Or Implantable Loop Recorders, Is Preferred. Candidates Should Possess A Strong Understanding Of The Anatomy And Physiology Of The Heart And Have Experience With Medical Equipment Troubleshooting And Repair.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency In Interpreting Ekgs And Other Diagnostic Tests Related To Cardiac Devices Is Essential. Candidates Should Also Have Knowledge Of Various Software And Programming Used In Cardiac Device Technology.

  • Communication And Interpersonal Skills: The Ability To Effectively Communicate With Physicians, Patients, And Other Healthcare Professionals Is Crucial In This Role. Successful Candidates Should Have Strong Interpersonal Skills And The Ability To Work Well In A Team Environment.

  • Attention To Detail And Problem-Solving Abilities: Cardiac Device Technicians Must Have Excellent Attention To Detail And The Ability To Troubleshoot And Solve Complex Problems. They Must Also Be Able To Work Efficiently And Accurately While Adhering To Strict Safety Protocols And Industry Standards.
