1. Provide compassionate care to patients struggling with mental health disorders.
2. Collaborate with the Adult Psychiatry team to develop and implement treatment plans for patients.
3. Monitor and document patient progress and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
4. Utilize strong understanding of mental health disorders to provide individualized care to patients.
5. Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients.
6. Assist patients with daily activities, including personal hygiene and medication management.
7. Provide emotional support to patients and their families.
8. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and members of the healthcare team.
9. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, including confidentiality and patient rights.
10. Attend trainings and continuing education to stay updated on best practices in behavioral health care.
11. Collaborate with community resources to ensure patients receive necessary follow-up care.
12. Prioritize and manage tasks in a fast-paced environment.
13. Adhere to ethical and professional standards in all interactions with patients and colleagues.
14. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.
15. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
