  1. Provide direct care and support to individuals with mental health needs, including conducting assessments, implementing treatment plans, and monitoring progress.
  2. Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive and individualized care for patients.
  3. Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients, including crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques.
  4. Document patient progress and communicate with healthcare team members to ensure continuity of care.
  5. Assist patients with daily living activities and encourage participation in therapeutic activities.
  6. Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, treatment plans, and coping strategies.
  7. Advocate for patients' rights and promote a stigma-free environment for mental health.
  8. Stay updated on current research and best practices in the field of behavioral health.
  9. Adhere to all ethical and legal standards in patient care and maintain patient confidentiality.
  10. Monitor and report any changes in patient behavior or condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
  11. Attend trainings and meetings to enhance skills and knowledge related to behavioral health.
  12. Maintain a positive and professional attitude towards patients, colleagues, and the healthcare organization.
  13. Collaborate with community resources to provide additional support and services for patients.

  15. Participate in quality improvement activities and contribute to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.

Job Qualifications
  • Experience In Providing Direct Care To Individuals With Behavioral Health Disorders, Including Knowledge Of Therapeutic Techniques And Interventions.

  • Knowledge Of Mental Health Diagnoses And Treatment Modalities, As Well As Understanding Of Ethical And Legal Standards In The Field.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Establish Rapport And Build Relationships With Patients And Their Families.

  • Ability To Work Collaboratively With A Multidisciplinary Team, Including Physicians, Nurses, And Other Healthcare Professionals.

  • Certification Or Licensure In A Related Field, Such As Certified Behavioral Health Technician (Cbht) Or Licensed Practical Nurse (Lpn), Preferred.
