- Provide compassionate and patient-centered care to individuals struggling with mental health disorders and substance abuse.
- Support and assist patients in their recovery journey by implementing behavioral health principles and techniques.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans for patients.
- Monitor and document patient progress and behaviors, and report any concerns or changes to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients by enforcing facility rules and regulations.
- Assist with daily living activities, including but not limited to meal preparation, medication management, and personal hygiene.
- Advocate for patients and their needs, and ensure their rights are respected at all times.
- Participate in ongoing training and education to stay updated on best practices in behavioral health care.
- Adhere to all legal and ethical guidelines and maintain patient confidentiality.
- Foster a positive and supportive work environment by actively collaborating with colleagues and promoting teamwork.
Bachelor's Degree In Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Or A Related Field.
Experience Working In A Healthcare Or Behavioral Health Setting, Preferably With Patients With Mental Health Or Substance Abuse Issues.
Strong Understanding Of Behavioral Health Disorders And Treatment Methods.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Build Rapport And Establish Trust With Patients.
Ability To Handle Sensitive And Confidential Information With Professionalism And Adhere To Ethical Standards.
