Behavioral Health Technician

1. Provide compassionate and supportive care to patients with mental health and behavioral health needs.
2. Work closely with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans for patients.
3. Monitor and observe patients' behaviors and report any changes or concerns to the treatment team.
4. Assist patients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management.
5. Create a safe and therapeutic environment for patients by de-escalating any potential crisis situations.
6. Participate in patient group therapy sessions and facilitate therapeutic activities.
7. Collaborate with community resources and support networks to ensure patients receive appropriate care and services.
8. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
9. Adhere to all ethical and legal guidelines, including patient confidentiality and HIPAA regulations.
10. Continuously educate oneself on the latest developments and best practices in behavioral health to provide the highest quality of care to patients.
11. Foster a positive and supportive work culture by promoting teamwork, communication, and respect among colleagues.
12. Contribute to the improvement of patient care by providing feedback and suggestions to the treatment team.
13. Attend and actively participate in team meetings, trainings, and professional development opportunities.
