Job Description

Ascension Health is looking for an experienced Audiologist to join our team. We are looking for an individual who has a passion for helping people and a dedication to excellence in healthcare. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients with hearing and balance disorders. You will work directly with patients and their families to provide education and support throughout the course of treatment.The ideal candidate will have a Doctoral degree in Audiology from an accredited university, a valid state Audiology license, and two years of experience. Additionally, you should possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, be organized and detail-oriented, and have a strong knowledge of hearing instruments. Responsibilities:

  1. Diagnose and treat patients with hearing and balance disorders.
  2. Provide education and support to patients and their families throughout the course of treatment.
  3. Utilize hearing instruments and other diagnostic tools to assess auditory and balance functions.
  4. Prepare and maintain patient records and reports.
  5. Develop and implement treatment plans.
  6. Provide counseling and support to patients and their families regarding hearing and balance issues.
  7. Perform audiometric tests and interpret the results.
  8. Maintain a safe and comfortable environment for patients.
  9. Remain up-to-date on the latest technologies and techniques in audiology.
  10. Comply with state regulations and ethical standards in audiology.
