APRN or PA - Obstetrics and Gynecology

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our team in the Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN) department at Ascension Health. The ideal candidate for this role will have a passion for providing excellent care to patients of all ages and backgrounds.The successful candidate will have the unique opportunity to utilize their education and training to provide comprehensive care to patients with obstetric and gynecologic concerns. In this role, you will be responsible for providing care such as pre- and post-natal care, gynecologic exams, family planning services, and more.To be successful in this role, you must have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant studies and be licensed to practice in the state of your choice. You must also have experience in the OB/GYN field, either in a clinical or administrative setting. A commitment to patient-centered care and excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role. Responsibilities:

1. Provide comprehensive care to patients with obstetric and gynecologic concerns, such as pre- and post-natal care, gynecologic exams, family planning services, and more.
2. Maintain a commitment to patient-centered care and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
3. Utilize education and training to provide quality care to patients in the OB/GYN setting.
4. Maintain licensure and certification to practice in the state of choice.
5. Collaborate with other medical professionals to ensure patient safety and satisfaction.
6. Document patient care and other relevant information in medical records.
7. Educate patients and their families about treatment options and provide support during difficult times.
8. Participate in research and other medical initiatives as needed.
