  1. Conduct research and data analysis to support transportation planning projects
  2. Assist in the development of sustainable transportation strategies and solutions
  3. Collaborate with team members to brainstorm and generate innovative ideas
  4. Attend meetings and site visits to gain a better understanding of transportation planning processes
  5. Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations
  6. Help with the coordination and organization of project materials and documents
  7. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in sustainable transportation
  8. Contribute to the development of proposals and project plans
  9. Follow company policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective project delivery
  10. Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure project objectives are met.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Analytical Skills: A Transportation Planning Intern At Arup Should Possess Excellent Analytical Skills To Effectively Analyze Transportation Data And Make Recommendations For Improvement.

  • Knowledge Of Transportation Planning Principles: Candidates Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Transportation Planning Principles And Techniques, Including Traffic Modeling, Demand Forecasting, And Transportation Network Analysis.

  • Proficiency In Gis And Other Relevant Software: Familiarity With Geographic Information Systems (Gis) And Other Relevant Software Is Essential For A Transportation Planning Intern At Arup. This Includes Proficiency In Tools Such As Arcgis, Transcad, And Cube Voyager.

  • Communication And Teamwork: As A Part Of A Multidisciplinary Team, A Transportation Planning Intern Should Have Excellent Communication Skills And The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Other Team Members.

  • Pursuing A Degree In Transportation Planning Or Related Field: Most Importantly, Candidates Should Be Currently Pursuing A Degree In Transportation Planning, Urban Planning, Civil Engineering, Or A Related Field. Previous Coursework Or Experience In Transportation Planning Is Highly Preferred.
