  1. Conduct research and analysis to identify sustainable solutions for infrastructure projects.
  2. Collaborate with project teams to integrate sustainability principles and practices into design and planning processes.
  3. Develop and implement strategies to promote sustainable design and construction practices within the organization.
  4. Advise clients on sustainable design and construction options and their potential impact on project outcomes.
  5. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices related to sustainability in infrastructure projects.
  6. Lead the development of sustainability plans and reports for projects, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
  7. Conduct sustainability assessments and audits to identify areas for improvement and track progress.
  8. Communicate and present sustainability concepts and strategies to clients, stakeholders, and project teams.
  9. Mentor and train junior sustainability consultants on sustainable design principles and practices.
  10. Collaborate with external partners and organizations to further promote sustainability in infrastructure projects.
  11. Participate in business development activities, including proposal writing and client presentations.
  12. Continuously seek opportunities to innovate and improve sustainability practices within the organization.
  13. Adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations and guidelines in the execution of job duties.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Knowledge Of Sustainable Design Principles: A Senior Sustainability Consultant At Arup Should Possess A Deep Understanding Of Sustainable Design Principles And Be Able To Apply Them To Infrastructure Projects. This Includes Knowledge Of Green Building Standards, Renewable Energy Systems, And Sustainable Materials.

  • Experience In Infrastructure Projects: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Background In Managing And Delivering Sustainability Projects In The Infrastructure Sector. This Could Include Experience In Sustainable Transportation, Water And Waste Management, Or Energy Infrastructure.

  • Project Management Skills: As A Senior Consultant, The Candidate Should Have Proven Experience In Managing Projects From Start To Finish. This Includes Developing Project Plans, Managing Budgets And Timelines, And Ensuring Successful Project Delivery.

  • Strong Communication And Stakeholder Engagement Skills: Arup's Sustainability Consultants Often Work With A Variety Of Stakeholders, Including Clients, Engineers, Architects, And Local Communities. Therefore, Excellent Communication And Stakeholder Engagement Skills Are Essential For This Role.

  • Qualifications In Sustainability: Arup Typically Requires A Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In A Related Field, Such As Sustainable Development, Environmental Science, Or Civil Engineering. Additional Certifications Such As Leed, Breeam, Or Envision Are Also Valuable For This Role.
