- Lead and collaborate on landscape architecture and planning projects, taking a hands-on approach to design and project management.
- Utilize your expertise and experience to develop innovative and sustainable design solutions that positively impact communities and the environment.
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of the built and natural environment, and apply this knowledge to create meaningful and resilient landscapes.
- Take a leadership role in guiding and mentoring junior team members, providing support and guidance to help them grow and develop in their roles.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including engineers, planners, and consultants to ensure integrated and holistic design solutions.
- Conduct site visits and assessments to gather information and understand project constraints and opportunities.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and other team members to ensure successful project delivery.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and new technologies related to landscape architecture and planning.
- Represent Arup and showcase our values of sustainability, innovation, and excellence in all interactions with clients and stakeholders.
- Contribute to the business development efforts of the firm, including preparing proposals and participating in client presentations.
- Ensure adherence to project budgets, timelines, and quality standards.
- Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and stakeholders to provide updates, address concerns, and resolve issues as they arise.
- Embrace and promote a collaborative and inclusive work culture within the team and the firm.
- Act as a brand ambassador for Arup, upholding our values and promoting our mission to create a better world through design.
Extensive Experience In Landscape Architecture And Planning: A Senior/Principal Landscape Architect/Planner At Arup Should Have A Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In The Field, With A Proven Track Record Of Successful Projects And A Deep Understanding Of Landscape Design Principles And Planning Processes.
Strong Project Management Skills: This Role Requires Strong Project Management Skills, Including The Ability To Lead A Team, Manage Budgets And Timelines, And Communicate Effectively With Clients And Stakeholders. Experience In Managing Large And Complex Projects Is Highly Desirable.
Expertise In Sustainable Design: Arup Is Committed To Creating Sustainable And Resilient Landscapes, And The Ideal Candidate Should Have In-Depth Knowledge Of Sustainable Design Principles And Experience In Implementing Them In Projects.
Proficiency In Relevant Software And Technology: The Use Of Technology Is An Integral Part Of Arup's Landscape Architecture And Planning Practice. The Ideal Candidate Should Be Proficient In Relevant Software Such As Autocad, Gis, And Adobe Creative Suite, And Be Willing To Learn And Adapt To New Technology And Tools.
Strong Communication And Collaboration Skills: As A Senior/Principal Landscape Architect/Planner At Arup, The Candidate Should Have Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills To Effectively Work With Multidisciplinary Teams, Clients, And Stakeholders. The Ability To Present Design Proposals And Concepts Clearly And Persuasively Is Also Essential.
