  1. Lead and manage a variety of environmental projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  2. Provide expert guidance and support to clients, colleagues, and project teams on ecological matters and sustainable solutions.
  3. Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify potential environmental impacts and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  4. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and policies.
  5. Utilize your extensive knowledge and understanding of ecological principles and practices to inform and guide project design and development.
  6. Mentor and train junior team members, sharing your expertise and knowledge to help them develop their skills and grow professionally.
  7. Stay up-to-date with the latest developments and advancements in the field of ecology and incorporate them into project work as appropriate.
  8. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to integrate ecological considerations into project design and development.
  9. Prepare and review technical reports, proposals, and other deliverables to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  10. Represent the company at conferences, seminars, and other industry events to promote Arup's environmental consulting services and expertise.

Job Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree In Ecology Or Related Field: A Senior Ecologist At Arup Should Possess A Master's Or Phd Degree In Ecology Or A Related Field, Such As Environmental Science Or Biology. This Level Of Education Demonstrates A Deep Understanding Of Ecological Principles And Their Application In Environmental Consulting.

  • Minimum 8 Years Of Experience In The Field: Arup Seeks Senior Ecologists With A Minimum Of 8 Years Of Experience In The Field Of Ecology, Preferably In An Environmental Consulting Setting. This Level Of Experience Indicates A Strong Foundation In Ecological Knowledge And Practical Skills.

This Expertise Is Essential For Guiding Clients Through The Complex Regulatory Landscape.

  • Strong Project Management Skills: As A Senior Ecologist, The Ability To Manage Projects Effectively Is Crucial. This Includes Developing Project Plans, Overseeing Budgets And Resources, And Ensuring Timely Delivery Of High-Quality Work Products.
