  1. Design and develop mechanical systems for various projects in accordance with client needs and project requirements.
  2. Utilize engineering principles and industry standards to ensure high-quality and efficient designs.
  3. Collaborate with other team members, including architects, structural engineers, and project managers, to develop integrated solutions.
  4. Conduct research and analyze data to inform design decisions and identify innovative solutions.
  5. Prepare and review technical reports, drawings, and specifications.
  6. Stay up-to-date with industry advancements and best practices to continuously improve design processes.
  7. Communicate effectively with clients, project stakeholders, and team members to ensure project goals and deadlines are met.
  8. Conduct site visits and inspections to assess project progress and address any technical issues.
  9. Work closely with contractors and vendors to ensure project specifications are met and materials are delivered on time.
  10. Continuously monitor and evaluate project performance to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
  11. Adhere to safety protocols and ensure designs meet all necessary building codes and regulations.
  12. Mentor and train junior engineers and provide technical guidance and support when needed.
  13. Contribute to business development activities by participating in client meetings, proposing new ideas, and identifying potential opportunities.
  14. Maintain accurate and organized project documentation.
  15. Uphold Arup's commitment to sustainability and incorporate sustainable design principles into projects whenever possible.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Mechanical Engineering Or Related Field

  • Proficiency In Cad Software, Such As Autocad Or Solidworks

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Relevant Work Experience In Mechanical Design And Analysis

  • Knowledge Of Building Codes And Regulations Related To Mechanical Systems

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Identify And Troubleshoot Complex Mechanical Issues.
