- Conduct thorough inspections of building facades to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and durability standards set by Arup and relevant regulatory bodies.
- Communicate inspection findings and recommendations to project team members, clients, and other stakeholders in a clear and timely manner.
- Identify potential issues or risks with building facades and provide effective solutions to mitigate them.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to develop and implement effective facade inspection plans.
- Utilize industry-specific tools and equipment to accurately assess the condition and performance of building facades.
- Keep detailed records of all inspections, findings, and recommendations in accordance with Arup's standards and procedures.
- Conduct follow-up inspections to ensure that any identified issues have been addressed and resolved.
- Stay up to date with industry developments, standards, and regulations related to building facades.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members and assist in their professional development.

Knowledge Of Building Codes And Regulations: A Facade Inspector At Arup Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Local, State, And National Building Codes And Regulations Related To Facades And Building Envelopes.
Experience In Facade Inspection And Assessment: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Facade Inspection And Assessment, With A Proven Track Record Of Identifying And Documenting Facade Issues.
Familiarity With Facade Materials And Systems: The Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Different Facade Materials And Systems, Including Glass, Metal, Stone, And Concrete. They Should Also Be Familiar With Various Facade Testing Methods And Equipment.
Attention To Detail And Strong Analytical Skills: Facade Inspection Requires A Keen Eye For Detail And The Ability To Analyze Complex Building Systems. The Candidate Should Have Excellent Analytical Skills To Identify Potential Issues And Recommend Appropriate Solutions.
