Arup is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Development Management, Infrastructure & Policy Town Planner.   1. Conduct research and analysis of development proposals, infrastructure plans, and policy documents to provide recommendations and guidance to clients.
  2. Collaborate with project teams to develop and implement strategies for sustainable and innovative development.
  3. Utilize expertise in town planning to advise clients on planning regulations, policies, and procedures.
  4. Review and assess the environmental, social, and economic impacts of proposed developments and infrastructure projects.
  5. Communicate and negotiate with stakeholders, including local authorities, community groups, and developers, to achieve successful outcomes for all parties involved.
  6. Prepare and present reports, proposals, and presentations to clients and other stakeholders.
  7. Stay up-to-date with current trends and best practices in town planning, infrastructure planning, and policy development.
  8. Contribute to the development and implementation of Arup's town planning strategies and initiatives.
  9. Mentor and provide guidance to junior staff members in town planning principles and practices.
  10. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and budget targets are met.
  11. Collaborate with other professionals, such as architects, engineers, and landscape designers, to integrate town planning into the overall design process.
  12. Represent Arup at industry events and conferences to showcase our expertise and build relationships with potential clients.
  13. Uphold Arup's commitment to sustainability by incorporating sustainable design principles into all projects.
  14. Adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards in the field of town planning.

Job Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Urban Planning, Civil Engineering, Or A Related Field.

  • At Least 5 Years Of Experience In Development Management, Infrastructure Planning, And Policy Development.

  • A Strong Understanding Of Urban Design Principles, Land Use Planning, And Transportation Planning.

  • Excellent Communication And Project Management Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With A Diverse Team.

  • Previous Experience Working With Government Agencies And Stakeholders On Complex Development Projects.
