  1. Manage and maintain all project-related documents, both physical and electronic, in an organized and efficient manner.
  2. Ensure timely and accurate distribution of documents to relevant teams and stakeholders.
  3. Develop and maintain document control procedures to ensure consistency and compliance with company and project requirements.
  4. Collaborate with project managers and team members to determine document control needs and provide support as necessary.
  5. Monitor document review and approval processes to ensure timely completion and adherence to project timelines.
  6. Conduct regular quality checks to ensure accuracy and completeness of project documents.
  7. Identify and troubleshoot any document control issues and implement solutions to resolve them.
  8. Ensure proper version control and document naming conventions are followed to maintain accuracy and consistency.
  9. Provide training and support to team members on document control procedures and systems.
  10. Maintain confidentiality and security of all project documents and information.
  11. Communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external stakeholders regarding document control processes and procedures.
  12. Act as a point of contact for any document-related queries or issues.
  13. Continuously seek opportunities to improve and streamline document control processes.
  14. Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
  15. Represent the company in a professional and positive manner at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Proficient In Document Management Systems: The Ideal Candidate For A Document Controller Job At Arup Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Document Management Systems, Such As Aconex Or Procore, And Be Able To Efficiently Organize And Manage Large Volumes Of Documents.

  • Attention To Detail: Document Control Is A Meticulous Task That Requires A High Level Of Attention To Detail. The Candidate Should Have A Keen Eye For Spotting Errors And Ensuring Accuracy In Document Organization And Management.

  • Strong Communication Skills: As A Document Controller, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Communicating With Multiple Stakeholders, Including Project Managers, Engineers, And Clients. Excellent Verbal And Written Communication Skills Are A Must For Effective Document Control.

  • Familiarity With Industry Standards: Arup Is A Leading Engineering Firm, And The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Good Understanding Of The Industry Standards And Best Practices For Document Control. This Includes Knowledge Of Document Naming Conventions, Version Control, And Document Security Protocols.

  • Organizational Skills: A Document Controller At Arup Is Responsible For Maintaining A Well-Organized And Easily Accessible Document Filing System. The Candidate Should Have Excellent Organizational Skills And Be Able To Manage Multiple Projects And Deadlines Simultaneously.
