- Create and maintain accurate and detailed CAD drawings for infrastructure projects.
- Collaborate with engineers and other team members to develop design plans and solutions.
- Ensure all drawings and designs comply with industry standards and project requirements.
- Utilize CAD software and other design tools to produce high-quality and visually appealing drawings.
- Review and revise drawings based on feedback and changes from clients, engineers, and project managers.
- Provide support during the planning, design, and construction phases of projects.
- Organize and maintain project files and documentation to ensure easy access and retrieval.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in CAD technology to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure project goals and timelines are met.
- Adhere to company standards and protocols for CAD drawing and design processes.
- Collaborate with project managers to track project progress and make necessary adjustments to meet deadlines.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues related to CAD software or drawings.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while working on site or in the office.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve and streamline CAD processes and workflows.

Proficiency In Cad Software: A Cad Technician Infrastructure Job At Arup Requires A High Level Of Proficiency In Cad Software, Such As Autocad, Microstation, Or Revit. Candidates Should Have Experience In Creating 2D And 3D Models, As Well As A Strong Understanding Of Cad Standards And Workflows.
Knowledge Of Civil Engineering Principles: Arup Specializes In Infrastructure Design And Construction, So Candidates Should Have A Solid Understanding Of Civil Engineering Principles. This Includes Knowledge Of Site Layout, Grading, Drainage, And Utility Design.
