In-Depth Knowledge Of Physical Design Tools And Methodologies: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess A Strong Understanding Of Physical Design Tools And Methodologies Commonly Used In The Industry, Such As Cadence, Synopsys, And Mentor Graphics. They Should Also Have A Good Grasp Of The Latest Trends And Emerging Technologies In The Field Of Physical Design.
Experience With Complex Asic And Fpga Designs: The Technical Lead-Physical Design Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Leading And Delivering Complex Asic And Fpga Designs. This Includes Hands-On Experience With Floor-Planning, Place And Route, Timing Closure, And Physical Verification.
Strong Communication And Leadership Skills: As A Technical Lead, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Managing A Team Of Physical Design Engineers. Therefore, Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills Are A Must. They Should Be Able To Effectively Communicate With Team Members, Stakeholders, And Clients, And Provide Clear Direction And Guidance To The Team.
Knowledge Of Industry Standards And Best Practices: The Candidate Should Be Well-Versed With Industry Standards And Best Practices In Physical Design, Such As Design For Manufacturability (Dfm), Design For Testability (Dft), And Design For Yield (Dfy).
