Accounting Manager

We’re looking for a talented and experienced Accounting Manager to join the team at Arrow Electronics! As a key member of the Accounting Department, the Accounting Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the department and creating accurate financial reports. The ideal candidate for this role should possess a strong understanding of accounting principles, as well as excellent leadership and organizational skills. We’re looking for someone who is eager to collaborate with colleagues across the organization and contribute to the success of Arrow Electronics.To be successful in this role, we’re seeking a candidate with a minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, including at least 3 years in a supervisory role. A relevant Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a must. Our Accounting Manager should also have a deep understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and a working knowledge of Tax regulations. Strong computer and communication skills are also essential.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Accounting Department.
2. Create accurate financial reports in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
3. Develop and maintain the organization’s accounting policies, procedures, and processes.
4. Supervise a team of accounting personnel and oversee their work.
5. Handle accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and other accounting activities.
6. Monitor financial transactions, accounts, and documentations.
7. Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports.
8. Ensure tax compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
9. Develop and implement solutions to improve accuracy and efficiency of accounting processes.
10. Collaborate with other departments and provide support as needed.
11. Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging regulations.
