Building Maintenance Operations Supervisor

Arlington County's Department of Environmental Services (DES) seeks an experienced team leader to manage one of the 2 teams that provide building repair and maintenance services to a portfolio of over 80 County buildings. Making adjustments to schedules, priorities, and work sequences to accommodate equipment breakdown, material delays, or unplanned absences. Monitoring the inventory of repair and replacement parts and supplies and approving purchases made by subordinates. Responding to calls for emergencies and assisting with standby operations. Diagnosing and troubleshooting building air comfort, temperature problems, air distribution/balancing/stratification problems, and building automated system (BAS) problems. Responding to calls for emergencies and assisting with standby operations.
