  1. Support the university's systems and applications by troubleshooting issues, identifying root causes, and implementing effective solutions.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the timely resolution of technical problems and enhance the overall user experience.
  3. Monitor and maintain the performance of systems, including identifying and addressing potential vulnerabilities and implementing upgrades and patches as needed.
  4. Communicate system updates, outages, and maintenance schedules to relevant stakeholders.
  5. Provide technical training and support to faculty, staff, and students to ensure efficient and effective use of systems and applications.
  6. Document and maintain system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
  7. Develop and implement strategies to improve system performance, reliability, and security.
  8. Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, making recommendations for their integration into the university's systems.
  9. Participate in the evaluation, selection, and implementation of new systems and applications.
  10. Work closely with vendors to resolve technical issues and escalate complex problems as needed.
  11. Ensure compliance with university policies and procedures related to system usage and security.
  12. Collaborate with other IT team members to plan and execute system upgrades and migrations.
  13. Maintain a high level of customer service and professionalism when interacting with faculty, staff, and students.
  14. Adhere to strict deadlines and prioritize tasks based on urgency and impact to the university.
  15. Act as a liaison between the IT department and other university departments to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  16. Participate in on-call rotations and respond to emergency situations outside of regular business hours if necessary.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or A Related Field.

  • At Least 2 Years Of Experience In A Technical Support Or Systems Administration Role.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Windows And Mac Operating Systems, As Well As Various Software Applications.

  • Excellent Troubleshooting And Problem-Solving Skills In A Fast-Paced Environment.

  • Ability To Effectively Communicate With Both Technical And Non-Technical Stakeholders.
