- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of Arizona State University's procurement policies and procedures.
- Review and negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors and suppliers to ensure compliance with university standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and provide guidance on procurement processes.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential vendors and negotiate competitive pricing for goods and services.
- Manage the procurement process from start to finish, including drafting contracts, obtaining necessary approvals, and monitoring contract performance.
- Ensure all procurement contracts are properly documented and stored for future reference.

- Train and educate university staff on procurement policies and procedures to promote compliance and efficiency.
- Communicate any changes or updates in procurement policies and procedures to relevant stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all procurement activities and contracts.
- Proactively identify cost-saving opportunities and negotiate favorable terms and conditions for the university.
- Ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods and services by monitoring contract deadlines and following up with vendors and suppliers as needed.
Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Or A Related Field.
At Least 3-5 Years Of Experience In Procurement And Contract Management, Preferably In A Higher Education Setting.
Strong Understanding Of State And Federal Procurement Regulations, As Well As Knowledge Of University Policies And Procedures.
Excellent Communication Skills, Both Written And Verbal, With The Ability To Negotiate And Draft Complex Contracts.
Proficiency In Contract Management Software And Microsoft Office Suite, With The Ability To Analyze And Manipulate Data For Reporting Purposes.
