  • Maintain accurate and organized records for the Arizona State University Police Department.
  • Process and file reports, citations, and other documents in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Ensure all records are kept confidential and in compliance with state and federal laws.
  • Retrieve and provide information from records for department personnel, other agencies, and the public as needed.
  • Utilize various computer systems and databases to input and update information.
  • Monitor and track department equipment, such as firearms and vehicles.
  • Assist with the preparation and submission of required reports to state and federal agencies.
  • Collaborate with other department personnel to ensure accurate record-keeping and data management.
  • Serve as a point of contact for inquiries related to department records.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality at all times.
  • Attend training and professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date on record-keeping practices and procedures.
  • Perform other administrative tasks and duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Job Qualifications
  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Police Records Clerk At Arizona State University Should Have A Minimum Of A High School Diploma Or Equivalent. This Shows A Basic Level Of Education And Ability To Understand And Follow Instructions.

  • Prior Experience In Records Management: Previous Experience In Records Management, Preferably In A Law Enforcement Setting, Is Highly Desirable For This Role. This Experience Will Demonstrate The Ability To Organize And Maintain Accurate Records, Which Is A Crucial Aspect Of This Job.
