  1. Develop and implement energy conservation strategies in collaboration with various departments and teams across the university.
  2. Conduct energy audits and analyze energy data to identify opportunities for improvement and cost savings.
  3. Stay up-to-date on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to sustainable energy practices.
  4. Collaborate with external organizations and vendors to explore and implement renewable energy options.
  5. Create and maintain energy management plans, reports, and documentation.
  6. Monitor and track energy usage and expenses, and provide regular reports and recommendations to university leadership.
  7. Educate and engage campus community members on energy conservation and sustainability initiatives.
  8. Lead and participate in energy-related projects and initiatives, including the installation of energy-efficient equipment and systems.
  9. Conduct training sessions and workshops for staff and students on sustainable energy practices.
  10. Work closely with facilities management and maintenance teams to ensure proper operation and maintenance of energy systems.
  11. Develop and implement strategies to reduce the university’s carbon footprint and promote a culture of sustainability.
  12. Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to promote energy conservation initiatives and engage the campus community.
  13. Provide expertise and support for the development and implementation of energy-related policies and procedures.
  14. Monitor and analyze energy consumption data to identify potential areas for improvement and cost savings.
  15. Communicate and collaborate with external organizations and agencies to secure funding and grants for energy conservation projects.
  16. Continuously evaluate and improve energy management processes and procedures.
  17. Maintain a positive and professional relationship with all university stakeholders.
  18. Act as a role model for sustainable energy practices and promote a culture of sustainability across the university.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Environmental Science, Engineering, Or Related Field

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Energy Management Or Sustainability

  • Knowledge Of Energy Management Systems And Software, Such As Energycap Or Energy Star Portfolio Manager

  • Familiarity With Local, State, And Federal Energy Regulations And Incentives

  • Strong Analytical Skills And Ability To Identify And Implement Energy Conservation Measures
