  1. Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies to support the university's mission and goals.
  2. Oversee all internal and external communication channels, including print, digital, and social media.
  3. Collaborate with university leadership to develop and maintain a strong and consistent brand image.
  4. Serve as the main spokesperson for the university, representing the institution to the media and the public.
  5. Manage a team of communication professionals, providing guidance, support, and feedback.
  6. Create and maintain relationships with media outlets to ensure positive coverage of the university.
  7. Monitor industry trends and developments to stay current and adapt communication strategies accordingly.
  8. Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to ensure alignment of messaging and branding.
  9. Plan and execute high-profile events and campaigns to promote the university and its initiatives.
  10. Monitor and analyze communication efforts, providing regular reports and recommendations for improvement.
  11. Ensure all communication materials adhere to the university's brand guidelines and standards.
  12. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment within the communications team and across departments.
  13. Stay informed about the university's initiatives, achievements, and challenges to effectively communicate them to various audiences.
  14. Manage crisis communication and develop strategies to address potential reputational risks.
  15. Seek out and implement innovative and creative communication techniques to engage and connect with diverse audiences.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Higher Degree In Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In A Communications Or Public Relations Role, Preferably In A Higher Education Or Non-Profit Setting.

  • Strong Leadership Skills And Experience Managing A Team Of Communications Professionals.

  • Excellent Written And Verbal Communication Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Convey Complex Information To A Variety Of Audiences.

  • Knowledge Of Current Trends And Best Practices In Communications And Social Media Strategies, As Well As Experience With Crisis Communication Management.
