- Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies to support the university's mission and goals.
- Oversee all internal and external communication channels, including print, digital, and social media.
- Collaborate with university leadership to develop and maintain a strong and consistent brand image.
- Serve as the main spokesperson for the university, representing the institution to the media and the public.
- Manage a team of communication professionals, providing guidance, support, and feedback.
- Create and maintain relationships with media outlets to ensure positive coverage of the university.
- Monitor industry trends and developments to stay current and adapt communication strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to ensure alignment of messaging and branding.
- Plan and execute high-profile events and campaigns to promote the university and its initiatives.
- Monitor and analyze communication efforts, providing regular reports and recommendations for improvement.
- Ensure all communication materials adhere to the university's brand guidelines and standards.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment within the communications team and across departments.
- Stay informed about the university's initiatives, achievements, and challenges to effectively communicate them to various audiences.
- Manage crisis communication and develop strategies to address potential reputational risks.
- Seek out and implement innovative and creative communication techniques to engage and connect with diverse audiences.
Bachelor's Or Higher Degree In Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In A Communications Or Public Relations Role, Preferably In A Higher Education Or Non-Profit Setting.
Strong Leadership Skills And Experience Managing A Team Of Communications Professionals.
Excellent Written And Verbal Communication Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Convey Complex Information To A Variety Of Audiences.
Knowledge Of Current Trends And Best Practices In Communications And Social Media Strategies, As Well As Experience With Crisis Communication Management.
