1. Develop and implement strategies for community engagement initiatives that align with the university's mission and values.
2. Collaborate with university departments, local organizations, and community leaders to identify and cultivate partnerships that promote community engagement.
3. Plan and coordinate events and programs that facilitate meaningful interactions and collaborations between the university and the community.
4. Serve as a liaison between the university and the community, representing ASU in a professional and positive manner.
5. Create and maintain a database of community partners and resources for potential collaborations and opportunities.
6. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of community engagement initiatives and make recommendations for improvement.
7. Serve as a resource for faculty, staff, and students in regards to community engagement opportunities and resources.
8. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including students, faculty, staff, and community members.
9. Manage budgets and resources allocated for community engagement initiatives.
10. Stay informed about current events and issues in the local community and incorporate them into community engagement efforts.
11. Collaborate with marketing and communication teams to promote community engagement initiatives through various channels.
12. Train and supervise student volunteers and staff involved in community engagement programs.
13. Ensure compliance with all university policies and procedures related to community engagement.
14. Continuously seek out new opportunities for community engagement and develop creative ways to engage with the community.
15. Represent ASU at community events and meetings to promote the university's commitment to community engagement.
