- Provide one-on-one coaching and career guidance to students in a professional and supportive manner.
- Conduct workshops and events to educate students on career development strategies, job search techniques, resume writing, and interview skills.
- Stay updated on industry trends and job market information to provide relevant and current advice to students.
- Collaborate with academic departments to integrate career development into curriculum and assist with career-related events and programs.
- Develop and maintain relationships with employers to create internship and job opportunities for students.
- Use various tools and resources to assist students in career exploration, goal setting, and decision making.
- Assist students in identifying their strengths, skills, and interests to align them with potential career paths.
- Provide support and resources for students in choosing a major, changing career paths, and navigating career transitions.
- Maintain accurate records of student interactions and track their progress towards career goals.
- Act as a liaison between students and potential employers, offering networking opportunities and connecting students with job opportunities.
- Collaborate with other career development staff to continuously improve and enhance services provided to students.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay updated on best practices in career development and counseling.
- Uphold the mission and values of Arizona State University and promote a culture of diversity, inclusion, and equity.
A Master's Degree In Counseling, Student Affairs, Or A Related Field.
At Least 3 Years Of Experience In Career Counseling, Coaching, Or Advising In A Higher Education Setting.
Demonstrated Knowledge And Experience In Career Development Theories, Assessments, And Job Search Strategies.
Strong Interpersonal And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Work With A Diverse Population Of Students, Faculty, And Employers.
Familiarity With Arizona State University's Academic Programs, Resources, And Career Services Policies And Procedures.
