- Manage the recruitment process from job posting to offer acceptance, ensuring compliance with university policies and procedures.
- Act as a liaison between academic departments and human resources, providing guidance and support on academic personnel matters.
- Utilize knowledge of academic personnel processes to ensure accurate and timely processing of appointments, promotions, and other personnel actions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with academic professionals to understand their needs and provide personalized support throughout their employment.
- Stay current on industry trends and best practices in academic personnel management to continuously improve processes and procedures.
- Serve as a point of contact for employee relations issues, providing guidance and resolution in accordance with university policies.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as payroll and benefits, to ensure seamless management of academic personnel data and records.
- Create and maintain accurate and up-to-date personnel files and records for all academic professionals.
- Provide support for performance evaluation processes, including scheduling and tracking deadlines.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
- Participate in university committees and working groups related to academic personnel policies and procedures.
- Act as a resource for faculty and staff on university policies and procedures related to academic personnel.
- Assist with special projects and initiatives related to academic personnel management, as assigned.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting a culture of diversity and inclusivity.
Bachelor's Degree In Human Resources, Education, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In Academic Personnel Administration, Preferably In A Higher Education Setting.
Knowledge Of Federal And State Laws, Regulations, And Policies Related To Academic Personnel.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate Effectively With Faculty, Staff, And Administrators.
Strong Organizational And Time Management Skills, With The Ability To Prioritize And Manage Multiple Tasks And Deadlines Simultaneously.
