Job Description

At Aritzia, we are seeking a Risk Associate who is a highly organized and detail-oriented professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have an analytical mindset and an understanding of risk management principles. If you are passionate about understanding risk and have the required qualifications, then we want to hear from you!The Risk Associate will be responsible for helping ensure Aritzia’s compliance with applicable laws and regulations by evaluating, monitoring, and mitigating potential risks to the company. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to identify risks and determine the best courses of action.To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following qualifications: a Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field; at least 5 years of experience in a risk management role; and strong communication and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of relevant risk management laws and regulations, and experience with data analysis tools, will be considered an asset.

Responsibilities:

  1. Evaluate and monitor existing and potential risks to the company.
  2. Identify risk management strategies that comply with applicable laws and regulations.
  3. Develop and implement risk management processes and procedures.
  4. Maintain a comprehensive database of risk management information.
  5. Monitor the effectiveness of risk management initiatives.
  6. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and resolve potential risks.
  7. Analyze risk-related data, such as key performance indicators, to identify trends and patterns.
  8. Prepare reports and presentations on risk management issues.
  9. Provide advice and guidance to internal stakeholders on risk management.
  10. Stay up-to-date on relevant risk management laws and regulations.
