Risk Associate

We are looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Risk Associate at Aritzia. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of risk management, excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively. The successful Risk Associate will be responsible for understanding the company’s risk management policies, identifying potential risks, and developing solutions to mitigate those risks. Responsibilities:

• Developing and implementing risk management policies, processes and procedures • Analyzing and assessing potential risks, taking proactive steps to reduce and eliminate those risks • Identifying and developing solutions to mitigate risks • Collaborating with other departments to ensure effective risk management practices are being followed • Facilitating risk management training to ensure staff are aware of policies and procedures • Monitoring and evaluating existing risk management strategies to identify areas of improvement • Documenting and reporting on risks and risk management activities • Maintaining accurate records of risk management activities • Providing regular updates to senior management on risk management activities and progress • Assisting in the development of strategies to reduce and manage risks
