Job Description

The ideal candidate is a self-starter who enjoys working independently and collaboratively.The Risk Associate is responsible for evaluating and managing risk across the organization. This includes analyzing and monitoring credit, financial, operational, and compliance risks, as well as developing strategies to mitigate and control potential risks. The successful candidate will possess excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically to identify and address potential risks.To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:• Bachelor’s Degree in Risk Management, Finance, Accounting or related field• At least 3 years of experience in risk management or related field• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills• Excellent written and verbal communication skills• Ability to work independently and in a team environment• Proficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteIf you are an organized, reliable, and detail-oriented individual with a passion for risk management, we would love to hear from you. Responsibilities:

  1. Analyze and monitor credit, financial, operational, and compliance risks.
  2. Develop strategies to mitigate and control potential risks.
  3. Identify potential areas of concern in a fast-paced environment.
  4. Provide advice and guidance on risk management best practices.
  5. Develop and maintain risk management policies and procedures.
  6. Prepare risk management reports and present findings to senior management.
  7. Monitor and review regulatory and legislative changes that may impact the organization.
  8. Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices.
  9. Provide training and guidance to staff on risk management topics.
  10. Liaise with external parties such as auditors and regulators.
